Any other members not on the list and are willing and able also please advise by email.
The strategy will me the same as in previous years.
Sunday 26 July the Construction crews meet at Wisemans Ferry for a brew, briefing and deploy to set up Masts and Antenna at the key points.
This will include the pneumatic mast on trailer near 10 Mile Hollow, crank up mast free standing at Blue Hill, 8mt Masts at Jacks Track and the Heli Pad as a minimum.
To do this we will need 4 crews with 4WD vehicles.
Friday 31 July the Installation crews meet at Wisemans Ferry for a brew, briefing and deploy to all the points as per the construction phase to install repeaters, batteries and solar panels add to test the network.
Crews will also install masts and/or trailers with repeaters at other key points and ensure network is functional.
Hand Held radios and kits to install in key vehicles will be ready for issue and install at the RFS shed.
Saturday 1 August. Operate and maintain the network for the safe running of the bike race. Other tasks as required.
I have taken the liberty to include some WICEN members on this list. This may be a good opportunity to get some experience in the operation of the Mast Systems crank up mast.
The set up days are usually fun and challenging. The four wheel driving gives the vehicles a good test.
Regards,
Des.
