Trailwalker

To all, Many thanks to the crew for Trailwalker. Setting up involved Craig, Peter, Brendan Julie and me. The masts in position on Thursday. The repeaters and cross bands in on Friday. The base was staffed by Cath, John, Warren, Graham and Dave. The only incident we were involved in was the extraction from Jerusalem Bay on Friday. I followed the BSAR vehicle down the track with the mobile X-Band with the BSAR members then able to communicate directly to the ECC. An ambulance 4WD was used to transport the injured walker out to Berowra for further assessment. Our systems appeared to work as intended. The next Sydney event is the Coastal Classic on Saturday September 1. A reminder that Singleton also has the Wollombi Wild Ride on the same day. Regards, Des
