Our next event is the Jabulani Challenge in the Ku-ring-gai Chase
National Park, Saturday April 2.
The event starts at 0730 and is expected to be finished by 1300.
The communications plan is to set up the repeater trailer on Friday
afternoon, The team to meet at 0630 Saturday for instructions and
equipment where necessary.

The team for the Bare Creek run, Sunday December 5 is so far Des,
Julie, Craig, John, Sajith and Warren.
There is room for more members to assist.
For this event we plan to use the High Band portable channel.
The aim is to set up the antenna and mast on Saturday after the Coastal
Classic and install the repeater on Sunday morning.
Members too meet at 0600 Acron Oval, Acron Rd St Ives.
Brief and deploy a soon as possible.

As we come out of lock down, the communications activities are starting
to pick up.
The next event is the Blue Mountains Adventure Race, November 20/21.
The race HQ will be at Euroka Clearing near Glenbrook.
This clashes with the NSW AGM.
We require members who do NOT wish to participate in the meeting,
either in person or on line to assist with the event.
The current plan is to set up the repeater at Rileys Mountain Lookout
on the Friday prior to the event.
Issue radios on Saturday, charge over night, and reissue for Sunday.
Repeater to be set up by Des, Julie and Craig.
Repeater pack up on Sunday PM.

Unfortunately Raffertys Coastal Run has been postponed from next weekend
and is rescheduled to Saturday August 7.
Fingers crossed the lockdown has the desired impact and things really
settle down in Sydney over the coming days.

After the epic Convict 100, the next event is the Great Adventure
Challenge, GAC.
This will occur on Saturday May 22 around Kiama, mostly along the
coast.

I would like to thank the team for their efforts last Saturday on the
Convict 100.
Some of the members had some personal difficulties and the Friday set
up did not all go as planned. It however all came together and worked
on the day.
A comment from the RFS Comms team when CP 16 realised they were not CP
14 was "This is a red letter day, we have all of the check points"
